On 17th September, Tuesday, in Rabat, the Secretary of State for the International Development of Britain, Middle East, and also North Africa, Mr. Andrew Murrison reiterated the full support of his country for the United Nations process for finding an agreed upon as well as mutually acceptable political solution for ending the dispute over the Western Sahara.
The minister also added that their country also backed the serious as well as credible efforts that were made by Morocco as a political procedure for ending the dispute over the Western Sahara.
Murrison made the statement after having talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Morrocco, Nasser Bourita.
During a press conference, Bourita said that the Moroccan-British relationship was heading towards the establishment of a real strategic partnership.
Bourita also expressed his thoughts regarding the trade between both of the countries; he also laid emphasis on the fact that there had been a positive trend over the last two years in the business.
He has announced that a lot of meetings shall be taking place in the upcoming year for strengthening the bilateral economic as well as trade cooperation between the United Kingdom and Morocco.
During the Strategic Dialogue between the United Kingdom and Morocco, Murrison has expressed his contentment at participating at the meeting.
He said that he was very pleased to attend the 2nd UK-Morocco Strategic Dialogue that shall place in Rabat in this week. This significant meeting shows the depth as well as breadth of the friendship between Morocco and the United Kingdom.
