Myanmar’s Ministry of Planning and Finance is set to give the thumbs up to joint endeavors among nearby and outside insurance agencies one month from now.
The nation’s protection business administrative board, which is managed by the Ministry of Planning and Finance, is as of now examining organizations that have submitted demands for proposition (RFP), U Zaw Naing, the board’s secretary, disclosed to The Irrawaddy.
“I can’t uncover the names of the [foreign] organizations for the present. We have met those organizations and all things considered, [we will give them permission] one month from now,” he said.
Nine remote organizations have communicated intrigue, however just six of them submitted RFPs for joint endeavors, he said.
Joining forces with remote protection firms that have opened delegate workplaces in Myanmar, neighborhood organizations, for example, IKBZ, AYA Myanmar Insurance and Grand Guardian Insurance will give general protection administrations and GGI, Capital Life Insurance and CB Insurance will give extra security administration.

At present, there are 19 nearby insurance agencies giving general and extra security benefits in Myanmar.
